Types of asks

Overview

Visuel.ly is built on a simple yet powerful idea: Reciprocity Principle. This principle, used by successful sales and marketing professionals, states that when you "give" first and then "ask," the likelihood of a successful ask increases. By placing an ask at the end of the story, Visuel.ly helps to drive conversions. The platform provides you with significant flexibility in designing these asks.

Five Types

There are five types of asks that can be incorporated into a story:

  1. Ask using form layers: These can include requests for email opt-ins, SMS opt-ins, lead contact information, user demographics, and more, depending on your marketing or business goals.

  2. Ask using select actions: Typically used for short survey questions, these help marketers gain deeper insights into visitors' interests and feedback.

  3. Ask using digital wallets: You can integrate asks with digital wallets like PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or traditional credit card processing methods.

  4. Ask using Calendly: This type of ask aims to schedule offline or virtual appointments for more in-depth interactions.

  5. Asks using call action: This option allows users to place a call directly, though it is currently supported only on tablet and mobile devices.
