Arranging layers
Overview
Layers that overlap can obscure those beneath them. A top layer can completely or partially hide the layer below. To manage this, you need a mechanism to arrange the layers along the vertical axis. Visuel.ly provides the capability to Arrange or Order overlapping layers vertically to achieve your desired layout.
Arrange Layer:
To control and set the vertical order of overlapping layers, follow these steps:
Two options: There are two ways to Arrange a layer:
Right-click: Right-click on the Layer you want to arrange and click the Arrange option.
Style editor: Click on the Layer to open the Style Editor. Click on the Advanced Position button to get the Arrange options.
Arrange layers: Depending on how you want to position the layer relative to others, you have four options:
Back: Moves the layer to the bottom of the stack, so it will be hidden behind all other layers.
Front: Moves the layer to the top of the stack, making it cover all other layers.
Backward: Nudges the layer one level closer to the bottom, placing it below one layer but above the others.
Forward: Nudges the layer one level closer to the top, placing it above one layer but below the others.
