Input field
Input fields are essential for creating scenes with forms to collect visitor information such as name, company, title, and more.
Add, Delete, Configure Input Layer
Here’s how to add and configure them:
Addition: To add an Input Field to your scene, click the Forms button located at the top of the canvas.
This will open the Forms Layer Selector on the left-hand side of your screen.
Select the Input Field option, and it will appear on the Canvas.
Configuration: When you click on the Input Field, the Input Configurator will open on the right-hand side of your screen. Here are the fields you need to configure:
Is required: Specify whether filling out the input field is mandatory.
Error message: Add a message that will be displayed if the user does not fill out the input field and "Is Required" is checked.
Placeholder: Enter placeholder text that will appear in the input field before the user enters any information.
Form type: Choose the form type based on your needs. The payment form type is used for eCommerce transaction processing, while the lead form type is used for collecting lead information.
Name: Set the type of field name (e.g., first name, last name). Visuel.ly offers a predefined set of names available in this dropdown, which varies between payment and lead form types.
