Input & text area

Input and text area are similar to Text Layer. They have a box within which the input or text area is enclosed.

Styling the Input or text area:

Click on a Input Layer to open the Layer Style Editor on the left side of the Canvas. Then, click the Style tab, select Input field, and you'll see the following options.

  1. Font name: Choose from a library of over 700 fonts.

  2. Alignment: Position the input to be centered, aligned left, or aligned right.

  3. Font size: Adjust the font size in increments of 5.

  4. Color: Select colors from your recent colors, color palettes, or custom options.

  5. Letter spacing: Modify the spacing between characters.

Styling the Input Box:

Click on a Input Layer to open the Layer Style Editor on the left side of the Canvas. Then, click the Style tab, select Input box, and you'll see the following options.

  1. Text Align: Position the input horizontally or vertically within the input-box

  2. Box Color:

    • Color: Add a background color to the text box.

    • Opacity: Adjusts the transparency of the text-layer color.

    • Gradient: Apply a gradient color to the background of the text box instead of a solid color

  3. Border: Customize the border by adding a color, adjusting its thickness, and selecting the border style.
