Layer Style Editor

When you select a layer by clicking on it, the Layer Style Editor opens on the left side of the Canvas. For most layers, the Layer Style Editor will include three tabs:

  1. Style: This tab contains styling options specific to the type of layer you have selected. For example, the styling options for a text layer differ from those for an image layer.

  2. Animation: Animation is available for all layers except videos. To animate a layer, you can

    • Choosing an animation type

    • Setting a timing function.

    • Adjusting the duration

    • Setting a delay

  3. Position: Consists of Basic and Advanced positioning.

    • Basic Position: Configure the width and height of the layer, rotate it, and adjust its vertical or horizontal position on the Canvas.

    • Advanced Position: Arrange the layer's order relative to overlapping layers and set its position vertically or horizontally on the Canvas.

Note:

Layers within a group cannot be Animated or Positioned, but they can be Styled. In contrast, the Group layer itself cannot be Styled but can be Animated and Positioned. To select a layer within a group, click on it. To select the Group layer, double-click on the layer within the group.
