Select Action Warning

Overview

Select actions are used to seek user feedback, obtain user's interests, collect user demographics and other such data. You can also combine this action with scene filters to personalize users story.

Warnings

If Select Actions are not properly configured on a scene, you may encounter the following warnings:

1. Is Required: All Select Actions need to have the same Is Required. This setting must be the same across all select actions; either all "is Required" or none are "is Required". If you violate this rule you will receive a warning.

2. Selection Type: All select actions must use the same type, either all "Single Choice" or all "Multiple Choice"; mixing these types is not allowed.

3. Selection Name: The selection name must be identical for all select actions within the scene.

4. Selection Value: On a scene each selection value must be unique ; you cannot reuse a value for another select action.

5. Product: All select actions are either "Tagged as product SKU" or none.

In case of any discrepancies, you will be prompted to either update the configuration of all other select actions to match the configuration of the active select action or discard the changes made to the active select action.
