Visitors

Overview

Campaigns can target two main categories of visitors:

  1. SEO traffic: Visitors who reach a specific page on your website via links from search engine results on Google, Bing, or other search engines. This option is particularly useful if you have several high-ranking pages and want to dynamically update the content on those pages to display a visual story.

  2. Paid traffic: Visitors who come to your landing page by clicking on a paid advertisement. This includes a range of digital advertising channels such as:

    • Social media ads on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and others

    • Email marketing campaigns

    • Search ads on Google and Bing

    • Banner ads through programmatic ad buys

    • Direct mail with QR code links

    • SMS or text message links via platforms like Twilio and others

After selecting one of these categories (SEO or Paid), you can further refine your targeting based on factors like device, region, visitor type. The available options for refining targeting will depend on whether you choose SEO or Paid traffic.

Set SEO vs Paid Traffic

  1. Access the campaign builder: Click on the Campaign name in the Campaigns Dashboard.

  2. Open campaign setup: Click on the Setup menu

  3. Target: Click on the Target submenu on the left-hand side.

    • Select the SEO radio button on top for SEO traffic

    • Select the Paid radio button on top for paid visitor traffic

Note:

To target SEO visitors, make sure your Triggers and Target Pages are properly set up. If not, your campaign won't be shown to visitors arriving from clicks on Google and Bing search results.
