Triggers

If your campaign is aimed at SEO traffic, you need to consider two additional Campaign Setup options: Trigger Selection and Page Selection.

Overview

Triggers determines how and when the SEO visual campaign is displayed based on visitor behavior on your website. It allows you to set the duration a visitor spends on the website or a specific web page before the campaign is shown. Additionally, you can define the number of pages a visitor must view before the campaign is triggered. Lastly, it controls how many times the same campaign is displayed to a visitor during a single visit or across multiple visits.

Set Campaign Trigger:

Here's how to set up the target pages for an SEO campaign:

  1. Access the campaign builder: Click on the Campaign name in the Campaigns Dashboard.

  2. Open campaign setup: Click on the Setup menu

  3. Target: Click on the Target submenu on the left-hand side.

  4. Trigger selection: Click on the Trigger Selection button.

    • Maximum conversation attempts: This setting controls how many times the campaign will be shown to a visitor, whether during a single visit or across multiple visits. Enter the values you want

    • Page views: This determines the number of pages a visitor needs to view before the campaign is displayed, either within a single visit or over multiple visits. Enter the desired values.

    • Visit duration: This specifies the amount of time a visitor must spend on a page or on the website before the campaign is triggered. Enter the desired values.

Note:

The specified visit duration must be logically consistent. This means the duration set for a webpage cannot exceed the total duration set for the entire website.
