Payment data

Overview

Visuel.ly supports two types of payment processing mechanism

  1. Payments with digital wallets: Traditional online credit card processing can be cumbersome, requiring users to input their credit card information, address, and other details. This often results in a significant drop-off at the payment stage, as users may not have this information readily available. Digital wallets eliminate this friction

  2. Payments with credit cards: In addition to supporting digital wallet payments, Visuel.ly also allows for credit card payments. The payment process can be completed in either a single scene or across three scenes, depending on the amount of information required

Payment processing data

This example demonstrates how to send payment data to a payment processor for transaction processing. Whether you're using a payment processor for wallet payments or traditional credit card processing, the process is similar. In this example, we'll focus on credit card processing.

  1. Create a scene: Start by creating a scene that includes a form for credit card processing.

  2. Determine the data to collect: Depending on the information you need to collect, you may choose to spread the form across multiple scenes. For simplicity, this example will use a single scene.

  3. Configure the scene: Click on Config Scene to set up the necessary details.

  4. Send data to payment processor: In the Send data to section, select the payment processor you want to use. For this example, choose "Authorize.net."

That's it. You are done.

Warning:

For digital wallet processing to function properly, you need to configure the Scene to send data to the correct third-party payment processing vendor. Currently, this vendor is Braintree.
