Form data

Overview

Visuel.ly supports a variety of "asks", often involving the creation of scenes with layered forms. These "asks" can serve purposes such as:

  1. Email opt-ins: Marketers use these to collect first-party email data from visitors, creating a cost-effective direct communication channel.

  2. SMS opt-ins: With the decline in email open and click rates due to inbox overload, SMS has emerged as a crucial communication channel.

  3. Visitor contacts: Collecting visitors' physical address information provides marketers with an additional method to reach prospects via direct mail.

  4. Visitor demographics: Information like job title, company, and other details are also highly valuable to qualify and precisely target a prospect.

Visuel.ly stores this data in its analytics engine and can be reviewed and downloaded in Monitor.

Sending User Data

This an example of data collected using form layers can be send to third party software in your stack. Here are the steps

  1. Create a scene: Design a scene with a form to collect the data you need from users. Include any fields required for your data collection.

  2. Configure the scene: Click on Configure Scene. In the Send Data To section, select the third-party software you want to send the data to.

You’re all set! The data collected through the form layers will be sent to the chosen third-party software.

Note:

You can send data captured in a scene to multiple third-party platforms. However, you need to add these third-party software platforms in the Integrations module located in the Account Settings section. Additionally, data sent to your third-party software vendors will always be stored in Visuel.ly and will be available in the Monitor.
