Metrics
Here is an explanation of the metrics captured and displayed by Visuel.ly's analytics engine:
Conversions: This metric tracks both final and partial conversions based on your configuration of an "action" or "scene." A single user session can result in multiple conversions, depending on how you have set up your conversion rules.
Conversations: There are three types:
Bounce: Occurs when a user visits only one scene and then exits the story or navigates away.
Partial Conversations: Happen when a user exits before reaching the final scene.
Complete Conversations: Occur when a user views the entire story, including the final scene.
Scene engagement: Measures the number of users who drop off at each scene. This helps identify where users are most likely to leave the story, allowing you to make adjustments to improve engagement.
Contacts: Differentiates between known and anonymous contacts:
Known contacts: Users who have provided contact information such as an email address, phone number, or physical address.
Anonymous contacts: Users who did not provide any contact information. If the story does not include a scene requesting contact details, all users will be considered anonymous.
Transaction volume: Indicates the number of payment transactions processed by the campaign. This metric will only appear if the campaign includes digital wallet or credit card processing.
Average impressions: Calculated by dividing the total number of scene impressions by the total number of visitor sessions. Each returning visitor is counted twice in the total visitor sessions.
Average media engagement: The total viewing time of all videos in the campaign divided by the total number of visitor sessions. Returning visitors are counted twice in the total visitor sessions.
Average duration: The total time of all visitor sessions divided by the total number of visitor sessions. Returning visitors are counted twice in the total visitor sessions.
